Region
Cathedrals, cliffs, harbours, landing beaches and an abbey in a bay. Normandy is a region rather than a stop, and a private car is what turns it into a coherent trip.

Normandy begins about an hour west of Paris and runs for three hundred kilometres to the border of Brittany. Within that stretch are the Impressionist gardens at Giverny, the medieval capital at Rouen, the chalk arches of Etretat, the painters' harbour at Honfleur, the invented seaside of Deauville, the landing beaches and their cemeteries, the Bayeux Tapestry, and Mont-Saint-Michel at the far western end. Very little of it is easy to link by public transport, and that is the whole argument for a car with a driver.
Most guests approach Normandy in one of three ways. A single day trip to one place, usually Giverny, Rouen, Honfleur or Etretat. A long day to a distant one, most often the D-Day beaches or Mont-Saint-Michel. Or a multi-day trip with a chauffeur, moving between hotels and covering several of the above without ever handling a timetable or a suitcase on a platform. We do all three, and we will tell you honestly which shape suits the days you have.
Any address in Paris or the Paris region, and all three airports.

Beauvais is the closest of the three to upper Normandy. We track every flight and take you straight to your hotel in the region if you would rather not spend a night in Paris first.
Versailles, Disneyland Paris or a suburban address. Starting west of the city saves real time on every Normandy route.
Normandy is a region, so no single distance from Paris means anything here. Giverny is a little over an hour away and Mont-Saint-Michel is around four; Rouen, Honfleur, Etretat, Bayeux and Caen all sit at different points in between. Add to that the difference between starting at Beauvais and starting at Orly and you have a range far too wide to summarise in one number.
The calculator above prices a specific journey honestly. Enter your real pickup point and the town you want and it asks the routing service for the actual road route, then shows the distance in kilometres and the driving time before any price. Do that for each place you are considering and the geography of the region becomes obvious very quickly.
For a multi-stop day or a trip over several days, the transfer calculator is the wrong instrument and we would rather say so than let it mislead you. Send us the itinerary and we will quote a private hire that covers the driving between stops, the waiting and the hotel changes.
Upper Normandy, closest to Paris. Giverny for Monet's house and water garden, Rouen for the cathedral and the timbered old town, Etretat for the chalk arches and the needle, Le Havre for the Perret concrete architecture that is now UNESCO listed.
The Cote Fleurie. Honfleur and its painted harbour, Deauville with the boardwalk and the racing, Trouville with the fish market, and a string of quieter resorts running west.
The landing beaches and Bayeux. Omaha, Utah, Gold, Juno and Sword, the American cemetery at Colleville, the Pointe du Hoc, the Arromanches harbour remains, and in Bayeux both the tapestry and a cathedral that survived the fighting intact.
The far west. Mont-Saint-Michel and its bay, with Saint-Malo and Brittany immediately beyond. Throughout the region there is also the food: cider, calvados, Camembert, Livarot, and seafood that justifies most of the driving on its own.
A suggestion only, to show the shape a trip can take. Yours will be built around what you actually want to see.
Giverny in the morning, Rouen for lunch and the afternoon, on to a hotel in Honfleur or Deauville for the night.
Etretat in the morning, Honfleur and Trouville in the afternoon, or straight west towards Bayeux depending on your interests.
The landing beaches and Bayeux, or the long run to Mont-Saint-Michel, before returning to Paris or continuing into Brittany.
The car stays with you, the luggage stays in the boot, and the schedule is yours to change at any point.
Tell us the ages when you book and the right seats travel with the car for the whole trip, at no additional charge.
On a multi-day trip the bags go into the car on the first morning and come out at the last hotel. Nobody carries a suitcase up a station staircase.
Beach, bakery, viewpoint or simply a break. Your chauffeur stops where you ask, which is the difference between a family holiday and a forced march.
Single transfers are priced on the real road distance from the routing service. For a multi-day trip through the region, message us instead and we will quote the itinerary as a whole.
Comfortably: Giverny, Rouen, Honfleur or Deauville, or two of them combined. Ambitiously: Etretat, or the D-Day beaches, or Mont-Saint-Michel as a single long day. Trying to do the coast and the beaches in one day is not realistic and we would say so.
It depends entirely which part. Giverny is a little over an hour, Rouen around an hour and a half, Honfleur about two, Bayeux nearer three and Mont-Saint-Michel around four. Use the calculator above for a specific town from your own address.
Yes. For a two or three day trip through the region we quote the whole itinerary, including hotel changes and waiting time. Send us your dates and the places you want to see.
Yes. Many guests go directly from CDG, Orly or Beauvais to a hotel in Normandy without staying in Paris at all. We track the flight and meet you inside arrivals.
May to September for the coast and the gardens. Giverny is closed in winter. The D-Day sites and Mont-Saint-Michel are open all year and are considerably quieter out of season.
No. We provide the vehicle and a professional chauffeur, not a licensed guide. Your chauffeur knows the roads and the practicalities well, and we are happy to recommend guides for the D-Day sites in particular.
Yes. Whether it is a single transfer or a full itinerary, you get the figure in writing before the day and it does not change afterwards.
Yes. Saint-Malo, Rennes and the Brittany coast are natural continuations from the western end of Normandy, and we run long distance private transfers throughout France.
