About Us

About Paris Chauffeur Transfers

A private chauffeur service based in Paris, driving from the city and the Paris airports to destinations across France. One vehicle, one chauffeur, one price agreed before you travel.

What the Service Is

Paris Chauffeur Transfers is a private chauffeur service, which is a narrower thing than it sounds. We do not run a taxi rank, a shared shuttle or an app that assigns whichever car happens to be nearest. Every booking is a private journey arranged in advance: a named passenger, a known pickup point, a known destination and a price fixed before anybody sets off.

Most of what we drive falls into a few patterns. Airport transfers from Charles de Gaulle, Orly and Beauvais into Paris and back out again. Journeys within Paris and the surrounding region, including Versailles and Disneyland Paris. Long-distance and intercity transfers to towns, châteaux, ports and regional airports across France, and to a number of destinations just over the border. And private day trips and tours, where the vehicle and chauffeur stay with you for the whole day rather than dropping you and leaving.

The common thread is that you always know what you have booked. Not an estimate that moves with the traffic, not a queue at an airport rank at midnight, and not a driver who has never heard of the street you named.

The Principles Behind It

Six things shape how we work. None of them are complicated, but together they account for most of the difference between a private transfer and simply finding a car at the airport.

A fixed price on real road distance

Your price is the road distance of your route multiplied by the rate for the vehicle class, worked out and agreed before you travel. Traffic, red lights and detours do not change it, because time is not part of the calculation.

Flight tracking

Give us your flight number and we follow the flight rather than the schedule. An early landing or a long delay moves the pickup to the real arrival time instead of leaving you to rebook from the terminal.

Meet and greet inside arrivals

Your chauffeur waits inside the arrivals hall, after customs, holding a sign with your name on it. There is no kerbside hunt for a number plate and no phone call to a driver circling the terminal.

English-speaking chauffeurs

You can ask a question, change a detail or check a timing without translating it first. For visitors arriving in France for the first time, that removes a great deal of friction at both ends of the journey.

Door to door, anywhere in France

We collect you at the entrance you named and set you down at the address you gave us. No connecting train, no last taxi at the far end, and no distinction between a well-known town and a village nobody has heard of.

Around the clock

Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Flights land at every hour of the night and plans change without warning, so there is no window in which we stop answering messages.

Who It Is For

Visitors arriving in France for the first time, who would rather step out of an airport and find their name on a sign than work out which exit leads to which rank after a long flight.

Families, who know how quickly an airport becomes difficult with children, car seats, a pushchair and full suitcases, and for whom a vehicle that actually fits is worth more than a saving of a few euros.

Business travellers, who need a journey that starts when it was supposed to start and a price that can be settled in advance rather than argued about afterwards.

And travellers heading well beyond Paris — to Normandy, Champagne, the Loire, the coast or a regional airport — for whom a private car door to door replaces a chain of trains, changes and connections with a single journey. The two vehicle classes cover parties of up to four and up to eight, and larger groups travel in more than one vehicle on the same route.

How a Booking Works

Get the price

Enter your route on any transfer page and the road distance and the price for both vehicle classes appear immediately.

Give us the details

Date, time, passengers, luggage, child seats and your flight number if you are arriving by air.

We confirm

You receive confirmation of the vehicle, the price and the arrangements for the pickup point you chose.

We drive you

Your chauffeur is there at the agreed point, your luggage is loaded, and the journey runs to the price you were quoted.

What We Deliberately Do Not Do

A service is defined as much by what it leaves out. We do not run a meter, so nobody pays for sitting in traffic. We do not operate shared transfers, so your vehicle is never diverted to collect somebody else on the way. We do not apply a surcharge because the airport is busy, because it is a Sunday, or because it is the middle of the night.

Each destination page shows a starting price from central Paris, so you know the order of magnitude before you ask. The exact figure is then worked out on the route you are actually taking: the distance from a hotel near the Louvre is not the distance from a private address on the other side of the region, and we measure your own journey rather than charge everyone the same estimate.

If a detail is not settled, ask before you book rather than after. We would far rather answer a question in advance than have a booking go wrong on the day for the sake of a message nobody sent.

Common Questions

What areas do you cover?

Paris and the whole Paris region, including Charles de Gaulle, Orly and Beauvais airports, Versailles and Disneyland Paris. Beyond that, the whole of France, plus a number of destinations in neighbouring countries within a comfortable drive of Paris.

Is this a taxi service?

No. A taxi is hailed or taken from a rank and charged on a meter. We are a private chauffeur service: journeys are booked in advance, the vehicle is reserved for your party alone, and the price is fixed on the road distance before you travel.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as you reasonably can, particularly for larger groups, for days that need more than one vehicle and for travel at busy times of year. Short-notice requests are welcome too — message us and we will tell you straight away whether we can cover it.

Do your chauffeurs speak English?

Yes. You can confirm a detail, change a timing or ask a question directly, which matters most at exactly the moments when something has not gone to plan.

Can you handle an arrival in the middle of the night?

Yes. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and there is no night surcharge. Send us the flight number and the pickup follows the aircraft rather than the timetable.

What if I want more than a transfer from A to B?

Then you probably want a day trip or a private tour, where the vehicle and chauffeur stay with you for the day. Those are quoted individually because they depend on the itinerary and the hours. See day trips from Paris and private tours.

Planning a Journey in France?

Send us your route, your dates and the number of passengers, and we will confirm the vehicle and the price. Every price is worked out on the real road distance of your own route.
