A Private Car for the Whole Journey, Not a Meter

A long distance transfer is simply a private journey that goes beyond the Paris region. It might be Paris to Normandy for the D-Day beaches, Charles de Gaulle to Reims after a morning landing, Orly to Deauville for the weekend, or Paris to the Loire Valley with three château stops on the way. In every case the principle is the same: the car is yours for the trip, the chauffeur is yours for the trip, and the price is fixed before you leave.

That matters most on a long route. A metered taxi charges you for every traffic light, every stretch of roadworks and every kilometre of a detour. Our quote is calculated on the real road distance returned by a routing service, so the number you see when you book is the number you pay. Traffic on the A13, a slow crawl out of the Paris ring road, or a diversion near Rouen do not change it.

How the price is calculated

We use a single, transparent rate per kilometre of road distance. There are no zone maps, no surge multipliers and no separate booking fee.

Executive Eco€2.00 / kmUp to 4 passengers. Minimum fare €85. €1.80 / km after the first 100 km.
Premium Van€3.20 / kmUp to 8 passengers. Minimum fare €150. €2.80 / km after the first 100 km.

As an example, a route that a routing service measures at 300 km of driving comes to €560 in the Executive Eco and €880 in the Premium Van VIP, whatever the traffic on the day. Shorter journeys are covered by the minimum fare, which is why a very short hop is never quoted at an unrealistic figure.

The calculator above measures the actual driving route between your two points, shows you the distance and the estimated driving time, and then prices both vehicles. Because it works from a live routing service rather than a fixed price list, there is no destination we have to add by hand. Paris to Bordeaux, CDG to Luxembourg, Orly to Étretat and Beauvais to Disneyland Paris are all quoted the same way.

Where We Drive

We operate long distance transfers from Paris and the three Paris airports across the whole of mainland France, and to a number of destinations just across the border. If a road goes there, we can quote it and drive it.

Île-de-France

Versailles, Disneyland Paris, Fontainebleau, Vaux-le-Vicomte, Chantilly, Provins and Giverny. Close enough for a half day, far enough that a private car saves the whole morning.

Browse destinations →

Champagne

Reims, Épernay and the Route du Champagne. A private car is the practical way to visit two or three houses in a day without worrying about the drive home.

Champagne transfers →

Normandy

Rouen, Honfleur, Deauville, Trouville, Étretat, Bayeux, the D-Day landing beaches and Mont-Saint-Michel, as a transfer or as a full day with stops.

Normandy transfers →

Loire Valley

Chambord, Chenonceau, Amboise, Blois and Tours. The châteaux sit far apart on country roads, which is exactly where a private driver earns his keep.

Loire Valley transfers →

The rest of France

Lille, Amiens, Chartres, Orléans, Le Mans, Nantes, Rennes, Saint-Malo, Dijon, Beaune, Strasbourg, Colmar, Lyon, Annecy and Bordeaux, among others.

Across the border

Brussels, Bruges, Luxembourg, Amsterdam, Cologne and Geneva are all within a comfortable drive of Paris and are quoted the same way, on real road distance.

What a Long Distance Transfer Includes

Door to door

We collect you at your hotel entrance, apartment door or airport terminal and set you down at the address you gave us. No station transfers, no last taxi at the other end.

A fixed price

Calculated on the real road distance of your route and confirmed before you travel. Tolls and fuel are already accounted for in the rate per kilometre.

Flight tracking

If your journey starts at CDG, Orly or Beauvais, give us your flight number. We follow the flight and adjust to the real arrival time.

Room for luggage

Long journeys usually mean full suitcases. Tell us how many cases you have and we will put you in the vehicle that actually fits them.

Stops along the way

On a long route a coffee stop, a photo stop or a lunch stop is normal. Mention it when you book so the timing is planned rather than improvised.

An English-speaking chauffeur

You can ask a question, change a detail or check a timing without a language barrier at either end of the journey.

Long Distance Transfer Questions

How is the price for a long distance transfer worked out?

On the real road distance of your route, multiplied by the rate for the vehicle you choose: €2.00 per kilometre for the first 100 km then €1.80 in the Executive Eco, and €3.20 then €2.80 per kilometre in the Premium Van VIP. Minimum fares are €85 and €150. The distance comes from a routing service, not from a straight line on a map, so it reflects the roads actually driven.

Does traffic or a detour change what I pay?

No. The price is fixed on the road distance of the route when you book. Time spent in traffic, at red lights or on a diversion does not add to it.

Are tolls and fuel extra?

No. Motorway tolls and fuel are already covered by the rate per kilometre. The figure shown in the calculator is the figure for the journey.

Can I be collected from an airport for a long distance journey?

Yes. Charles de Gaulle, Orly and Beauvais are all normal starting points. Give us your flight number and we track the flight, so a delayed landing simply moves the pickup rather than losing it. See CDG transfers, Orly transfers and Beauvais transfers.

Can we stop on the way?

Yes, and on a long route it is usually a good idea. A short coffee or photo stop is easy to build in. If you want several proper stops, for example three châteaux in the Loire or two Champagne houses, that is better booked as a private day trip so the car and chauffeur stay with you all day.

Is a one-way transfer cheaper than a return?

A one-way transfer is priced on the distance of that single journey. A return is two journeys. If you need the car to wait at the destination and bring you back the same day, ask for a day trip instead, which is priced for the full itinerary rather than as two separate transfers.

Do you drive outside France?

Yes, to a number of destinations within a comfortable drive of Paris, including Brussels, Bruges, Luxembourg, Amsterdam, Cologne and Geneva. These are quoted the same way, on the real road distance. Message us on WhatsApp with your route and dates.

How many people and suitcases can you take?

The Executive Eco carries up to 4 passengers with 3 large cases. The Premium Van carries up to 8 passengers with 7 large cases. If you are a larger group we can arrange more than one vehicle for the same journey.
